Public Sector Organizations, Not for Profits and Businesses with fifty or more employees are required to a file a report on their activities associated with the AODA. You may receive a request to file if you have not done so. After you file a report you may be asked to participate in a file review where your policies and other documentation may be evaluated by the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario. If there is an issue, or lack of evidence of meeting the requirements, a compliance plan or order may be issued.
The Accessibility Directorate of Ontario is supportive of your organization meeting its obligations under the AODA and so will assist you in making sure you have the information you need.
